Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has issued notification for 474 posts of Rajasthan Stenographer & 2nd Grade PersonalAssistant.Online applications for Rajasthan Stenographer Recruitment 2024 will be filled from 29 February to 29 March 2024. Phase I of the RSMSSB Stenographer Exam Pattern 2024
There are two phases in the RSMSSB Stenographer Examination. The first phase is a written test with objective questions. There are two papers in Phase I .

Phase II RSMSSB Stenographer Exam Pattern 2024
- Phase II of the RSMSSB Stenographer 2024 Examination comprises a stenography or typing test. It tests the typing capacity of the candidates with maximum speed.
- Part 1 of the examination is for evaluating your shorthand typing & computer typing skills in English.
- Part 2 of the RSMSSB Stenographer exam tests the same in Hindi. The paper is of 100 marks.

- Note: Time duration is 10 minutes and 60 minutes for the English shorthand typing and computer typing, respectively. The Hindi shorthand typing, it is 10 minutes & 70 minutes, respectively.

General Knowledge
- Geography and Natural Resources of Rajasthan: Physical conditions of Rajasthan, major physical departments, vegetation and soil, natural resources-minerals, forests, water, animals, fauna and conservation, environmental protection.
- Agriculture and socio-economic development in Rajasthan: Major crops of Rajasthan, agro-based industries, major irrigation projects, small scale industries, handicrafts, various economic-social schemes and programs run by the state government, major industries, various sources of energy, population of Rajasthan. (2011), Panchayati Raj and its role.
- History of Rajasthan: Ancient civilizations, bright sides of medieval Rajasthan, princely states of Rajasthan and British treaties, 1857 and Rajasthan, farmers and tribal movements, Prajamandal movement, unified Rajasthan, role of women in the development of political consciousness.
- Culture and Heritage of Rajasthan: Famous historical and cultural places of Rajasthan, folk literature, folk art, folk drama, folk gods and goddesses, folk music, folk instruments, folk dances, fairs, festivals, customs, jewellery, medieval Rajasthan. Water resources, major forts, temples and havelis of Rajasthan, saints and Sufi saints, painting styles of Rajasthan, tourism, measures for heritage conservation.

- Glossary of official, Technical Terms (with their Hindi Versions)
- Letter writing: Official, Demi Official, Circulars and Notices.
Note: Questions on letter writing will also be objective regarding the structure of a letter.
